Dr. Carol Ann Chaney APRN, FNP-C PhD Nutrition is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse practitioner with a focus on functional medicine. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Carol has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through a personalized and integrative approach to care.

Carol received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Western Governors University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from the Charles Drew University of Medicine. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and has completed advanced training in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. In addition, Carol stands among an elite group of only 106 professionals who have achieved the prestigious distinction of being board-certified as an Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse by the American Holistic Nurses Corporation (AHNCC) .

As a functional medicine practitioner, Carol takes a holistic approach to healthcare, taking into account each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and environmental factors to develop individualized treatment plans. She believes in empowering her patients to take an active role in their health and wellness journey and works closely with them to achieve their goals.

In her free time, Carol enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and dogs.
